What is the healthcare like?
Modern infrastructures and facilities, particularly in private hospitals and clinics, are available. On the island, there are both public and private healthcare services. Many foreigners visit Mauritius for dental work, hair transplants, and cosmetic surgery. The largest private hospital in Mauritius and a member of the CIEL Healthcare network, Wellkin Hospital, performs advanced orthopaedic and urological operations as well as cardiac and spinal surgeries. Results are incredibly successful.
